treatment and intervention specialist
Sterling Recovery Services

Intervention / Intensive Case Management /
Treatment Consultations / Continuing Care

My own experience with this group has been first rate. They are knowledgeable and effective, and work with clients all over the country.

recovery coaches

A little newer to the recovery scene, recovery coaches are trained professionals who promote recovery and serve as guides for individuals and families. I know both of these coaches personally and they are both wonderful and inspirational and, as coaches, I know that they work tirelessly at guiding their clients to a bigger, better, and healthy life.

education and treatment options
Shatterproof

A national nonprofit committed to reversing the addiction crisis in the United States and a wonderful educational resource. The website is easy and helpful, and a good place to go to look for accredited treatment recommendations.

twelve step support groups
Alcoholics Anonymous

Click the button below to find meetings anywhere in the world. Meetings can vary, so try and go to a few, but they are always warm and welcoming. Meetings consist of a group of people who are trying to stay sober one day at a time. AA is not therapy, but I have learned more from people in those rooms than anywhere else in the world.

liberation programs
Liberation Programs

Specializes in substance use disorder in Connecticut. Really great, informed, experienced, and loving people work here.

support for families
Al-Anon and Alateen

Substance abuse and alcoholism effects the whole family. Al-Anon and Alateen are great resources for families and teens, respectively.

Do you know someone who is in recovery from alcoholism or substance abuse disorder?
If so, reach out to them.
They will share with you their experience, strength and hope, and root wholeheartedly for your recovery.
