My relationship with Brussels sprouts has evolved and deepened over time. ⁠

When I was young, I hated Brussels sprouts (I know - hate is a very strong word, but still), and I swallowed them whole when I was made to clear my plate of them. Now that I know that they can be caramelized and served in sauces with bacon, I have had a change in heart. ⁠
